DSC Power Series Keypads
PowerSeries high-quality, slim-profile keypads use advanced plastics technology to achieve a clean, unobtrusive look that homeowners welcome and installers will appreciate for their easy programming and installation. The keypads feature an input/output terminal that can be programmed to operate as a zone input, programmable output or as a low temperature sensor. The keypads also include adjustable backlit keys that address low-light situations and five programmable keys for simple onebutton activation of system functions. PK5500/ RFK5500 64-zone full-message keypads support eight languages, global partition status and full, 32-character programmable phrases.

Congratulations on your ownership of a UL-approved ADEMCO VistaKey-SK Access Control Unit. The VistaKey-SK, interfaced to your security system, delivers a combination of access control capabilities with fire detection, intrusion detection, and hold-up systems. When connected to the control panel, the VistaKey-SK can operate the control panel and can provide access control to the protected premises. The VistaKey-SK: Helps to reduce unwanted alarms caused by improper keypad operation by simplifying operation through the use of a card-swipe reader or wireless fob. Aids in reducing operational costs by eliminating the need to re-key caused by employee turnover. Helps to improve security by controlling access of individuals to specific areas in the protected premises. Assists in streamlining security operations by monitoring and recording user activity at a single location. Your Honeywell security system consists of a main control panel, at least one keypad, and various sensors strategically positioned throughout the premises. The system offers you three forms of protection: burglary, fire andemergency. The keypad provides full control of system operation. The system uses microcomputer technology to monitor all protection zones and system status and provides appropriate information for display on the keypad(s) used with the system, and initiates appropriate alarms. Your system may also have been programmed to automatically transmit alarm or status messages over the phone lines to a central alarm monitoring station. This manual is designed to help you become comfortable operating your system. Each function is explained in step-by-step detail. We recommend you read the SYSTEM OVERVIEW section to become familiar with the terminology and the basic features of the system. NOTE: All references in this manual for number of zones, user codes, partitions, VistaKey modules, the master partition and the event log capacity, use the VISTA-128FB’s features. All other features are identical for both panels.Also, all procedures in this guide for entering zone numbers or user numbers show 3-digit entries, which is valid for the VISTA-128FB. For the VISTA-32FB these entries are only 2-digits.

Honeywell is the world’s largest manufacturer of security systems and millions of premises are protected by Honeywell systems. This system offers you three forms of protection: burglary, fire and emergency. To realize the system’s full potential, it is important that you feel comfortable in operating it. Your system consists of at least one Keypad which provides full control of system operation, various sensors which provide perimeter and interior burglary protection, plus a selected number of strategically placed smoke or combustion detectors designed to provide early warning in case of fire. The system uses microcomputer technology to monitor all protection zones and system status, display appropriate information on the keypad display, and initiate appropriate alarms. Your system may also have been programmed to automatically send alarm or status messages over the phone lines to a central alarm monitoring station, and may also be capable of two-way voice communication with the central station.
